DJ Menno started playing records in the early eighties as a scratch/hiphop dj. Making mixes by dubbing cassettes and scratching records with the help of a doorbell. He attended his first acid or so called free party in 1994 and continued doing so for about 20 years. The parties shaped his open-minded vision of dj-ing and sparked his love for the soundsystem culture. His musical styles over the past 40 years range from HipHop, Soul/Funk, Dub/Reggae to Acid, Tekno, Electro and experimental electronic dance music. The most recent years his focus is mainly on Dub and Reggae, going back to the roots and origins of dance culture.
