Iain Sabiston

Elgin, United Kingdom

Iain Sabiston, 38 years old, from the North East of Scotland.

Digital Legowas a name discovered when Iain's DJ idol and friend Ollie Kneale were chatting about Ollie’s productions the conversation turned to their kids playing Minecraft which was described it as “Digital Lego”! The rest is history….

During his teenage years Iain was lucky enough to part of a great house following in the North East of Scotland getting to watch DJ’s like Anthony Pappa and Parks n Wilson playing and forming his taste in music.

Iain was hooked, invested in turntables, and learned the way of vinyl also playing at several nights in the local area. Fast forward 15 years with a new job that entailed a lot of travelling gave Iain the chance to listen to a certain mix by Haji which reignited a forgotten passion for mixing and life changed for Lego, he embraced the digital culture and starting putting mixes together for Soundcloud and after some incredible comments, support and a tip about a great radio station from Ed Fennell Iain found Saturo Sounds. A mix was submitted and approved along with a chance slot from their Wednesday night master Simon Cox and he became hooked on live broadcasting. Saturo Sounds has found a great DJ in Digital Lego and not long after he joined he was asked to broadcast a weekly show, every Wednesday night, for Saturo Sounds. Iain has also become an integral part of running Saturo Sounds Radio where new listeners are flocking to follow his musical journeys as he continues to raise the bar each and every week.

Digital Lego has a loyal, global, fan base and has a great following on Soundcloud which can be seen by his ever expanding followers and play count, they both keep growing!!
