Tech house, melodic house and techno DJ & music producer from Serbia.

His discography is a token for evolving grooves and hypnotic melodies, a legacy carried over from progressive beginnings. More recently he is influenced by cotemporary techno and enjoys to blend it all with peculiar elements.

A passion for electronic music can be traced back to early 00’s, being introduced to tapes and CD’s of whirling tribal and funky house tracks. Since then he spent free time immersing himself in the art of Dj-ing and learning everything possible about music creation. 2011 is the grand milestone, when 19 year old Derek scored first official release and feature on Beatport with remix of “Glow”, House Madness’s progressive single. Not many people felt the significance of such event, but the passionate and hardworking kid from Lapovo knew that, after years of honing his skills in the studio and behind the decks, this will be the first-of-many dents in the fabric of world music. He found a worthy mission.

Latest piece of music is a single that came out in 2017 on French label Jango Music, featuring conspicuous talent of Eva Bristol. Being his first vocal venture, "Never Be Mine" presents a step on the dusky side, with characteristic lead hook and emotionally charged vocals followed by an elevating drop. A forerunner is his premier tech-house EP “Dissidento” on domestic label Teddy Bear in Belgrade and raging progressive single “The Villain” on Australia's renowned 405 recordings.
His artistry is supported by some of the leading heads in the industry, such as Ian Carey, Tune Brothers, Niki Belucci, Thomas Gold, Alaia & Gallo, Money & Cash, Baggi Begovic and many more.

Geographically, he played in every relevant club and festival in Sumadija area. This includes club Garage, Trezor, NemamVeDe, Ex Fontana, Kosutnjak Pool Arena, Idzuo Sumadija fest. Being one of the residents of the Garage Reunion brand, he supports melodic guests in club Garage. Crazy path lead him to sharing decks with well-known artists, such as Pavel Petrov, Marco Baily, Vinicius Honorio, Concrete Djz, Jelly For The Babies, Betomeng, and many more.

Hosts weekly radio show "Solidified Sessions" with aim to gain better exposure of the quintessential music selection and skills of himself and friends, providing fans regular stream of fresh music for all venues – club, festival, boiler room, lounge, pool parties, sunset, sunrise and matinee. Communicates a wide palette of sounds - a deeper tech house, melodic, afro house and elements of progressive techno. A place to-go to hear what is in the now.
