Kgopotso William Komape was born in seshego, Limpopo and grew the love of music from his early days as a child. He debuted onto the House music scene as a dj, he then moved to Johannesburg to study at Numark dj academy where he in obtained his dj certificate.

The highlights of his career occured when he started to showcasing his dj skills at clubs: Sweetphops, Kofifi Cafe, News Cafe, Cappello, Essence premium lifestyle etc. Deeper Cano one of his biggest highlight occurred when he won dj slot competition to play at Moflava's NYD where shared the stage with the likes dj fresh, Heavy-K.

He gets motivation from the likes of black coffee, Da Capo, Themba as he believes that they are telling a story through the music scene. Deeper Cano's penchant is for true professional Afropolitan House dj who specializes with Afro tech/Afro House.
