Afrobeat

Afrobeat (not to be confused with afrobeats) is a music genre which involves the combination of elements of West African musical styles such as fuji music and highlife with American funk and jazz influences, with a focus on chanted vocals, complex intersecting rhythms, and percussion.

This is a whole genre on its own and our mission is to get it known all over the world. It's already big enough to have its own category without us having to categories it under indies or pop. Spread the word and add as much afrobeat tracks and mixtapes. lets connect.
