DaveDaRock stands for high-energy Drum & Bass sets, musical versatility, and a genuine passion for electronic music.

Born in Rostock and raised in Berlin – practically a child of the Love Parade era – his enthusiasm for electronic music was shaped from an early age. From Techno and Electro to Breakbeat and Drum & Bass, electronic music has always been more than just a soundtrack; it has been an integral part of his life.

After completing his training in Dresden, DaveDaRock's journey first took him to Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Eventually, however, he found his way back to Dresden – a city he now proudly calls home. Its culture, its people, and its vibrant music scene continue to inspire him time and time again.

His journey behind the decks began in 2013. Starting out with Techno, his musical direction gradually evolved over the years. Artists such as Anthony Rother and Dave Clarke, with their unique fusion of Techno and Electro, became major influences. The real turning point, however, came with The Prodigy. Through Breakbeat, the path ultimately led to where DaveDaRock truly feels at home today – Drum & Bass. For the past five years, his heart has belonged entirely to broken beats. I love it.

In addition to DJing, DaveDaRock is also actively involved in radio. Together with a close friend, he hosts the show Syncopate Lifes on coloRadio Dresden. Every second Sunday of the month, from 9:00 PM to midnight, the show is dedicated to broken beats in all their forms – from Drum & Bass and Breakbeat to Dubstep and everything beyond the classic 4/4 rhythm. More than just a music show, it provides a platform for exchange, connection, and networking within the scene.

Whether in clubs, at festivals, or on the airwaves, DaveDaRock represents driving basslines, diverse selections, and a passion for bringing people together through music.

I am now in Dresden, inspired by the city and its people. ...and it feels good and right!!!
