Dawney Mac is a South African Music producer, remixer and a DJ who refers to his summary, laid-back dance tracks as "Solid Deep house".
Inspired by Deep, Afro as well as Acoustic Neo Soul and Jam bands. His tracks heavily feature live instruments such flute, marimba, percussion, saxophone, Rhodes and piano, and generally have a relaxed, sunny, uplifting feel. Dawney Mac had devoted most of 2015 to remixing( including music is the answer by Black Coffee) and live gigs. When not performing, he spends most of his time in studio creating his own music. For him it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove regardless of genre, tempo, style or release age.
