Danny Cheung

A product of the early 90's Florida underground house music scene, Danny got his first taste of house music from attending some of the legendary nights at clubs such as Aahz @ The Beacham Theatre, The Club @ Firestones, and Simons in Gainesville. After picking up decks in early 94, Danny built a very passionate hobby of collecting and djing music for the pure enjoyment of the music and entertaining friends. Taking his passion a step further, he decided to pursue a career in the music industry. Danny attended Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida for audio engineering. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to start his career and hone his skills in the recording business. After establishing himself in the industry, he soon found himself working with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Jay Z, Ludacris, LeToya Luckett, P. Diddy, Tank and more as their recording/mix engineer and/or music programmer for their live shows. 2006 garnered him a Grammy nomination for "Record of the Year" on Mary J. Blige's hit record "Be Without You", and he received multiple Grammy recognition plaques for records and albums he worked on. Currently 2011 saw him recording most of Mary J. Blige's upcoming album, and is touring the world with Eminem as his music programmer. Although supporting others in their vision has been rewarding, Danny has never forgotten his dance music roots. This year finds him once again inspired to share his love of the ever evolving electronic sound.
