Darian Mile. Ultimately known as Dakes is an emerging Dj/Producer specializing in the ever evolving ground breaking genre, freshly brewed in South Africa namely Amapiano. Dakes born on the July 27, 2002 spent almost his entire childhood growing up in a small community called Ennerdale, Deep South from Johannesburg.

He began his senior phase education at the National School of the Arts at the start of 2016. His passion for music and art grew rapidly by the day. Surrounding himself by exceptional talent and excellence galore. Dakes began producing his own unique soundscape at the end of 2018. With nothing but pure artistry, Dakes has the ear, finger and heart to create a cohesive, listening experience suitable enough for the dance floor, and any other place a groovist would be to enjoy a good vibe.
