The Disko Starz - 1996

When filtered disco house came through a second wave in the late 2000s to early 2010s, a new generation of disco house producers took the spotlight. On the underground side of things, The Disco Starz gained a nice following with their old school filtered style combined with some uniquely different sampling. Many of those hard to find tracks can be heard on YouTube and Soundcloud. Only half of them, Dawood Helmandi, has been quite busy with releases and remixes on our label and others as well. This time around, they are back as a unit and they are taking us back in time with some upbeat filtered disco house with the release “1996″.
