Claasilisque Sound is a crew dedicated to hosting parties and playing music the people can dance to.

Claasilisque aka Classic/Classique Sound was founded in the 2000s by Scolou and Dominik in Basel, a major city in northwest Switzerland.

Early 2012 the experienced selector, and long time front man of the Swiss band Schwellheim, Easy Yves joined the team, making the sound what it is today.
Full of energy, bass, vibes, brand new music, and all the classics of course!

Current residencies:

In 2008 Claasilisque Sound started the legendary party series "Irie Monday" at a place called ABX Bar on the Nt-Areal.
Irie Monday changed Homebase to Nordstern ("Swiss Nightlife Award" winner) in 2009, and to Garage in 2014, weekly entertaining people from Basel and well across the borders, with changing guest Sounds/DJs from Switzerland and abroad.
With hundreds of Mondays, Irie Monday has not only become a solid home base for the Basel dancehall/reggae massive, but a highly rated event in the global dancehall soundsystem world.

Since 2012 Claasilisque Sound is resident at Basel's major cultural center “Kaserne-Basel", where they have hosted live shows with the likes of Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Anthony B, Gentleman, Romain Virgo and many more.

In 2013 Claasilisque Sound launched "Classique Night", a monthly regular at the brandnew Jägerhalle club in Basel (CH)
That's also the place you might just catch Claasilisque Sound play one of those 6 hour sets on a home round night...

Furthermore Claasilisque Sound plays music all over Switzerland, and abroad.
