This mixtape constitutes the second and final part of a listening overview of the artist Scott Walker, which was originally written seven years ago following his passing. The focus of this text is on the last forty years of his career (1978-2018). In the accompanying mixtape, we have selected several prominent tracks that serve as a foundation for exploring albums from this period.
Due to the restrictive policy of the previous hosting site, the mixtape was temporarily unavailable. We are pleased to announce its re-release here, now featuring additional songs and a slightly rearranged order. The listening experience may still be more challenging than the previously released mixtape from his "pop" period; however, after many years, his sonic vision has become clearer without losing its edge.
