Caught On Snag

Antwerpen, België

Caught On Snag is a belgian electronic music producer who has worked under several aliases over the last years. His style may be described as varied, but the influences of bass music, drum & bass and dubstep can not be ignored. Hints of garage grime and hip hop can also be recognised in the music. Not being tied by genres, the sounds have a underground feel to them.
Over the years, former projects have known support by record labels, radio stations and dj's, especially in the drum & bass scene. Collabs with other known belgian producers found their way to festival dancefloors in Belgium and abroad, and were played on national radio. Now, Caught On Snag aims to produce more edgy music, trying to think more out of the box.
Caught On Snag uses a variety of methods to create music. Having different approaches to arranging a track results in a more diverse style. Focus can be on sound, melody and/or atmosphere. The tools used in the proces are mostly NI Reaktor, as well as some older synths such as Massive, FM8 and Absynth.
In 2019, the first EP will see the light of day, showcasing versatility in music production. The future will bring more fresh ideas and different approaches.
