Sinisa Cizmesija, AKA DJ Evolution, AKA Burned Fruitcake, started his DJ career in year 1998 in hometown of Zagreb, Croatian capital, after many years of being a passionate consumer of the electronic dance music.

Early influences came from genre trailblazers such as Kraftwerk, The KLF and The Prodigy.
The softer side was always there, too... (Enigma, Deep Forest, Banco de Gaia). This can nowadays be heard both in his productions and selections.

The choice of music that he presented in his DJ sets in the late 1990s was a fusion of progressive house and trance (labels like Hooj Choons, Platipus, Xtravaganza), and has touched party goers both in club events (Cosmic, Fiesta Splendidissima, Astralis, Stereo Studio, Extravaganza), as well as in the bigger festivals (Aquatica, Globe).

He played along the side with world class djs such as: Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Valentino Kanzyani, Mr.C, Timo Maas, Darren Shambhala, Hardy Hard, Oliver Lieb, Umek, Blu Peter, Ian Driver, Alex Anderson, Stefan Mone, Darren Christian...

Residencies were held in Night Flight @ club Gjuro 2, Trancevision and Network @ club Sokol, Space and Liquid @ club The Best, Electro Sound and Space @ club Kulusic.

And for the more recent musical journey...

Music production career began in March 2018 with a double appearance on Emotional Content Recordings’ “Miami Sampler”, continuing with releases for EC2, JourneyDeep and In2U, Saturo, and more to come...

Productions range between atmospheric organic house and darker progressive house, depending on the inspiration...

At the moment, occasionally Dj-ing at underground events in Finland, summer terrace gigs held few years ago at world famous Löyly in Helsinki.
And the last year's highlight, gig at ADE for Saturo Sounds label party held at the Kashmir Lounge in Amsterdam.
