Brendon Nkohla, better known by his stage name BlackQuest, is a South African DJ, record producer, singer and songwriter. He began his career around 2011 and has released 2 EP albums in the South African Deephouse scene.

BlackQuest started falling inlove with music in 2011 after attending the prestiges Soul Cand institute of Music, under his lecturer Blanka Mazimela he has acquired the necessary skills to be called a seasoned disk jockey. Soon after completion of the course he started developing his own unique sound dabbling in SA house (Subgenre: Amapiano, AfroHouse & Deephouse). Self proclaiming himself as "Mr ISSAVIBE" he prides himself in playing multiple genres and always surprises the crowd with a very distinctive selection of music compositions.

Thus far BlackQuest has shared the stage with Heavy K, Dj Zinhle, Dj CNDO,Principlez(Performance:TP Le Pique Nic; BET A LIST 2017).
