Edin Van Burgh aka Edin Hodzic was born in 1969 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1990 he is based in Cologne, Germany. His loyalty to the city has remained since then.
Right after his arrival his first DJ-appearances at Cologne Clubs started.

The musical roots of Edin Van Burgh are far from the electronic music of our days. Alternative, Punkrock and other loud guitar music, these were the sounds that Van Burgh coined.

His key experience at WAREHOUSE, Cologne and OMEN, Frankfurt in the early 90's was the birth of Van Burgh's love for electronic music. Fascinated by the possibilities of musical expression, he found his way quite quickly behind the turntables.

Whoever had the pleasure of listening to the man from Sarajevo will undoubtedly have been thrilled by his musical abilities.

While travelling the world to attend gigs at clubs Van Burgh was able to combine his passion – surfing at any surf spot around the world.

His Event and DJ-booking agency is named SoundsGood which exists since 2010. At that time 'Housefriedensbruch' was born which events are continually moving from club to club with supporting, mainly unknown and talented Guest DJ's from all around the world.

Van Burgh has now succeeded in becoming known across regional borders. Performances at the old original Double Six Club (90's), Bali (IND), the legendary Rock Food, Hossegor (FRA), Hula Hula Beach Club, Hvar (CRO) and the Coral Beach Club, Dubrovnik (CRO) and many others have made Van Burgh a firm size among the scene.
