beroshima started with an acid flavoured electronic sound and has constantly evolved as one of the finest acts in live techno. the label mueller records was founded in 1996 providing a consistent platform for quality electronic dance music. an additional imprint called mad musician followed in 2012. besides countless single releases the following albums have been released until today: 1993 'the lost Frea(k)quencies' on Acid Orange ( Tanjobii); 1999 'POP - the pornography of performance' on Muller Records; 2004 'the catastrophe Ballet' on Muller Records and Beroshima music; 2011 'polyphonication' on Muller Records. in 2004 frank muller and ulrich schnauss decided to focus on their solo projects. ulrich schnauss earned worldwide respect for his electronica compositions while frank joined various projects as a producer, continuing to perform as a live act as well as a DJ. he also released a number of solo tracks such as 'horizon' on cocoon records and soma UK as well as 'moonraker'. in 2011 frank and ulrich joined forces again as beroshima to finish a 4th album titled 'polyphonication'. this year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of beroshima as a techno live act. 'polyphonication' has just been re-released by american label tulipa recordings earning great feedback from acclaimed Djs. in july the 5th album 'real to reel' will be released on circle music to be followed by a live CD in early autumn. a special anniversary compilation on muller records will also see the light of day towards the end of the year - presenting hidden gems from the acid orange archives, special remixes and remastered classics: a journey through twenty years of electric insanity. beroshima live is techno.
