Bassline Miller

Halle (Saale), Deutschland

BasslineMiller (Electric Weed Crew)

BasslineMiller´s biography is quite a sign of the digital age. Like many of the new generation DJs, he first started his musical carreer as a producer of techhouse and minimal tracks in 2005 and soon felt in the very need to share them with the party crowd. So he took up deejaying, too and during the following years drew some attention as a DJ at local and regional club and festival events and as a host of "Higherbeats", a show on electronic music and culture on Halle..s independent radio "Corax". Then influenced by a wide range of styles and developments in electronica, BasslineMiller was ready and up for new ways, which led him away from the monotony of straight 4/4 metres on towards much more massive and diversified sounds with the ability to elevate music experience to the level of physical perceptibility. The consequent choice was Dubstep with its brute, breaky beatz and its hunger for diverse inputs which it absorbs, just to spit them out again as a fresh sound storm. It is the unabashed RMX and crossover madness of dubstep, ranging from deep and atmospheric tracks to rocking, pounding bass quakes, what BasslineMiller wants the massive to inhale and sweat out during his sets, just to make them cry for more: fun & rock & bass!
