Interview with the principal of the Midwifery and Health Assistant Training School in Tepa in the Ashanti Region. The school is facing a new income of about 400 additional students to the already existing 800. They already don´t have enough classrooms and accomodation for all the attendants, the tutors have to teach classes with around 150 to 200 students at the same time. They try to improvise in using the dining hall and the library as temporary classrooms. But there is much more needed. Victoria Amoah tells us about the other problems and how they try to solve it. As well she speaks about new methods of teaching and learning with information technology devices, e-learning and e-solutions. The school in Tepa is part of the HITA midwife exchange project. One of the tutors - Afua Sarpong - went with another midwife tutor from April till July 2014 to Germany for an internship to work with two other German participants on building up an e-learning platform.
