Apex Sound is an electronic music producer from the Netherlands. Originally drawn into the electronic music scene when he was visiting festivals himself. More often than not he was imagining what kind of tracks he would play if he were there, thinking up the tracklists as he was there. This resulted in him buying his first DJ controller, eventually leading him to record sets online, playing at some private parties and (winned) DJ contest events.

After some time, he also started producing his own music, which now is his main focus. Starting with hard dance,but slowly progressing into trance & progressive. Having no musical background he started small with help of the Producers forum up until the point that he was freuquently releasing music at various labels such as Ultraviolet Music (Black hole recordigns), OHM Deep State, Addictive Sounds, Antima Music and more. After a hiatus, he is now still releasing music at Astral Records & Ablazing Deep.

Under his APX Sound alias, he also explores techno, and has released on Blanc Stone Digital, Addictive Sounds and BUNK3R R3C0RDS. His techno productions also found success beyond the studio, with some being played at various events even making it to the Tomorrowland Rave Cave stage.
