Anthony Jimenez creates techno from and for the tight community of fans, DJs, and producers that make up the international underground. Originally from Cleveland, the DJ and producer has made a name for himself in Detroit with his regular appearances at Scene, Blank Code's monthly techno event at the Works. Tracks from his debut EP, Time Under Tension, released by Blank Code in 2014, resounded through the techno club circuit and made their way into numerous DJs’ podcasts. Jimenez’s sound reflects the hard work that he puts in behind the decks and in the studio. Always poised and purposeful, his DJ arrangements and original productions launch from a solid techno structure into some seriously deep exploration of new rhythmic and sonic experiences, designed for ritualistic dancing in the club and bottomless introspection. Jimenez has been billed alongside some of techno’s biggest talents, including Monoloc, Silent Servant, Dasha Rush, and Regis. With a 2015 booking at Movement, the premier electronic music festival in Detroit, Jimenez is primed and ready to take his music to the next level.
