Sharing the Joy

by Anomon

These beautiful and relaxing compositions and how they transcended themselves mean a great deal to me.

They both began as Piano Improvisations with broad phrasing and melodic elements i dearly wanted to hear orchestrated. And though i orchestrate my own Fusion music, I wanted these done by a real artist. So... the search began.

And when my musical colleague and friend Milana Zilnik Milana introduced me to orchestral genius Jeff Torres (whose work i admired greatly), i was excited, thankful, and eager to begin. So within that week, i wrote Jeff with my proposal, we conversed on Soundcloud, and agreed to begin a collaboration. I was elated.

That was over a year ago, and 'The Dancing Wu-Li Masters' was first to inspire him. And later, he felt a similar creative resonance with another of my Piano compositions entitled 'Oases of Joy'.

Granted, it took some time for Jeff to work his magic and bring them to what i feel is perfection. For he is very busy man. And with his own orchestral compositions and many other projects on the go, i thus understood from the beginning that it was a process that couldn't and wouldn't be hurried.
So i let "Patience have her perfect Work", as it's said. And in-deed... his remarkable ability to sense my phrasing and to feel my overall flow, allowed him to take both pieces to 'a whole other level'.

His meticulous intuitive orchestral coloring of my compositional outlines has brought forth two works of great beauty, elegance, and harmony and i couldn't be more delighted.

So relax. Put on your Headphones, set the music player on Repeat, and let these unmanipulated natural instrumental sounds of harmony, peace, and Joy flood your heart and soul.

Thank you from both of us.
