Working from my self contained project studio. All music written, played, programmed and produced by myself. My music is a mixture of accoustic and electronic and is of mixed genre, but mainly jazz/fusion-jazz/rock instrumental. Each piece of music is a reflection of life, sometimes real, sometimes imagined. After spending 30 years as a freelance keyboard player, I began studying the wonderful Chinese Internal Arts of T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Hsing-y Ch'uan and Bagua Chang in unison with Taoist teachings. This study and ongoing practice has helped to open my mind to the real opposites in life and occasionally beyond that. So at this advancing age, I've hung up my touring hat and now wear my studio hat. Hopefully my music now reflects the inner struggles and joys that I have experienced and continue thankfully to experience. My music is mainly instrumental although I am well up for collaborating on projects if anyone needs whatever I can bring to the table. My son John Hamilton (singer/songwriter) calls on me from time to time and I really enjoy working on songs too. My brother Gilbert Hamilton plays kit on most of my tracks and shares production.
