Marc Meistro and DJ Stylus are the Sol Power All-Stars, a duo devoted to the evangelical proliferation of deep sounds and global rhythms. Their sets connect world music beats from the beaches of Rio to the discos of Lagos and the warehouses of Chicago and Detroit. Based in Washington DC, the Sol Power All-Stars have held residencies at Dahlak, Eighteenth Street Lounge and Tropicalia, played venues from Brooklyn to Bogota and their productions have appeared on labels including Soul Clap Records, Fabric Records, Bastard Jazz, G.A.M.M., Rocksteady Disco, Cultures of Soul, and Record Breakin’. This set was recorded live at a non-stop all weekend event held in 2019 steps away from the White House called Catharsis on the Mall, the mix is Sol Power All-Stars set recorded until the generator was cut off at 3am.
