Mira Ló - The Cover Mix

5 Mag met Mira Ló in one night in Chicago in December 2022. It's been said that anyone vacationing in Chicago in the middle of winter must be really dedicated to this house thing. She is.

@mira-lo has released a series of records on @pontneuf (Look What You've Done, 2022) and Happiness Therapy (I'll Miss You, Tell Me, 2021). We were smitten by her productions, and her DJing style — eclectic but energetic and rooted always in the foundations of house —is even better.

A DJ from the age of 22, she now appears regularly at Paris clubs including Sacré, Rex Club, Badaboum and La Java, "wandering sometimes between nu disco and house, sometimes between techno and acid." In 2022 Mira joined the LGBT collective Barbi(e)turix; she is now working on a new EP coming in Spring 2023.
