Aum Rocket

Aum Rocket’s journey as a DJ began under the Luminoid monicker in 2000, commencing with an opening slot and ensuing residency, playing heavy, techno-influenced house at one of the UK’s biggest acid-techno nights, Templehead in Leeds. A string of gigs at local Leeds venues followed, as well as a back-room residency at Leeds night Superconductor, which also hosted such great names as Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, John Acquaviva and many other quality US artists. His more recent appearances on web-radio have highlighted his love of acid-based music.

His Aum Rocket incarnation is a fresh project, launched to carry his passion for a vast range of music. In his arsenal you’ll find house, techno, breaks, electro and bass, as well as material of a more dubbed-out, or even a dreamy nature. And with sprinkles of acid of course! All of his sets get the creative touch, whether he’s playing four-to-the-floor or displaying his more eclectic side.
