ASA 808 – Mahakala / Thunder [YARN006]

by Yarn Audio

After showcasing Electronica-mastermind Turning Torso, kicking out Yarn’s first remix EP and treating Berlin’s Paloma Bar twice, the forward-thinking net- label is ready for two manic Bass tweaks from Berlin producer, DJ and promoter Asa 808.
Pushing the boundaries of Techno, House and Bass, the classical trained musician surprises with bold sounds and shuffled grooves. The lush breakbeats of the A-side “Mahakala“ fight with twisted toms, housy percussion and stirring synth action. The B-side “Thunder“ in contrast is a straightforward as omnious club construction and maybe Yarn’s most jacking track to date!
Playing along with DJs such as Christian Lo?ffler,
Tom Demac, Lando (Kal) and Komon, Yarn Audio is happy to have Asa 808 on board and bringing you his pop-infected, cutting-edge Bass Music.
Driven by his love for innovative electronic music, Asa’s “TOYS – Take Off Your Shoes“ parties have become a must go in the German capital. Rocking venues such as Prince Charles, Ritter Butzke, Gret- chen and Loftus Hall, all ambitious lovers of electro- nic music should keep their eyes and ears open!
