The Madrid based producer makes his first appearance on the label with three fresh cuts, delivering an EP full of energy. Kicking things off is title track 'Friday Night', an energetic acid inspired track perfect to warm up things up for the weekend, that definitely lives up to it's name. Coming up next is another fantastic cut. In collaboration with M. Castejón this time, Julio Corrales brings joy with this simple but effective saxy track entitled 'Sax Nights'. Following up is Sanchez & Narvaez remix of 'Sax Nights'. The Argentinian artists make their long awaited return to the label, showcasing why they are head honcho's Jojo Angel favourite duo. With a heavy bassline and punchy drums but keeping the original saxophone vibe, the duo takes the track to an even more minimal path delivering a killer remix. Marco Manrique and Simon Cortez, who together form Filta Freqz, showcase their versatility in their debut for DFTD, 'Master Blaster EP'. The title track 'Master Blaster' features hip-hop vocals and a swinging 4/4, accented by sax blasts and a funking bass bridge. 'Show Me', utilises a similarly direct 4/4 but is otherwise a far cry from the New York hip-hop style first track. It comes as a classic feel-good house track with soul powerhouse vocals, piano riffs and a pumping bassline. A very strong debut EP demonstrating some seriously diverse influences from the Filta Freqz duo.
