dj jauche hingegen, ähnlich wir mijk, war von anfang an dabei und stieg - quasi analog dj foch hier in jena - 1990 ins geschehen ein.

westbam stellt in seinem buch "die macht der nacht" ja den (für uns nachvollziehbaren) gedankengang auf, dass west-berlin im grunde eine ansammlung von kriegsdienst-verweigerern, lebenskünstlern und aussteigern jedweger gattung war. diese ohnehin sehr ekstatisch aufgelegte gruppe traf nun auf eine aufgeschlossene und durch den mauerfall euphorisierte, nach leben hungrige ost-jugend.

geboren war dj jauche in ost-berlin, war also schon vor ort "als es losging" mit dem techno und der anschließenden initial-zündung in berlin. gleich nach der wende organisierte er erste eigene parties und war auch einer der residents im legendären "walfisch club".


gebürtig hört jauche auf den namen oliver marquardt. bei wem es bei diesem nachnamen in bezug auf das berliner nachtleben klingelt, liegt richtig - sein bruder ist sven marquardt. dj jauche engagierte seinen bruder auch bei seiner eigenen partyreihe "jauchomatic", was die weitere karriere seines bruders wohl bis heute beeinflusst haben dürfte (aber das ist eine andere geschichte).

interessant fanden wir, dass dj jauche z.b. auch unter dem alias "jack flash" für den edit von "love is in the air" verantwortlich war. auch wenn sich das in der kurz darauf durch milk & sugar produzierten version wohl (leider) nicht weiter finanziell für ihn auswirkte.

ähnlich wie mijk, war auch oliver sehr gefragt in der ein oder anderen dokumentation der "early days" in berlin, so z.b. beim buch "klang der familie" oder auch auf artes doku "tanz auf dem todesstreifen"... ansonsten hat er natürlich auch eigene tracks veröffentlicht unter diversen alias´en, aber auch in form von remixen sowie einem 2016 erschienenen eigenem album.


was sein set heute angeht können wir nur den hut ziehen. er hat - ohne dabei peinlich, plakativ oder zu gewollt daher zu kommen - unzählige klassiker so arrangiert, ineinander gemischt und/oder die passenden remixes/edits herausgesucht, dass daraus ein derartig runder mix entstand, dass der club vor euphorie nur so sprühte.

wir sind uns dabei nichtmal sicher, ob jeder im raum die tracks alle "von früher" kannte oder ggf. erst per shazam feststellte, dass das wohl ältere platten sein müssten. und das kommt noch dazu: er spielte fast ausschließlich platten, technisch natürlich einwandfrei gemixt, was dem ganzen noch eine zusätzliche soundästhetik, vor allen dingen aber auch eine zusätzliche magie verlieh.

wir könnten jetzt alle tracks auflisten, die da so zum tragen kamen, aber es waren einfach zuviele. wichtig ist jedoch, dass alle dabei eine bedeutung hatten irgendwann einmal in den vergangenen jahrzehnten - bis heute! neben den alten klassikern kamen noch ein paar aktuelle tracks zum einsatz, die im grunde nochmal unterstrichen, dass die wirklich guten alten tracks fast 1:1 mit heutigen produktionen mithalten können. so z.b. dj koze´s aktueller "ecstasy" track ("... truth is bitter in the beginning, but sweet in the end...") der sich ohne weiteres gut einfügte.

ihr seht, wir waren und sind es bis jetzt begeistert! entsprechend lang gestaltete sich die nacht und auch gegen 6uhr früh konnte man im kassa noch keinen sonderlichen abrieb beim publikum erkennen - es war immernoch voll und immernoch geladen. so soll es sein!]]> i played records from 1990 til today in a 3 hours dj set

interessant fanden wir, dass dj jauche z.b. auch unter dem alias "jack flash" für den edit von "love is in the air" verantwortlich war. auch wenn sich das in der kurz darauf durch milk & sugar produzierten version wohl (leider) nicht weiter finanziell für ihn auswirkte.

ähnlich wie mijk, war auch oliver sehr gefragt in der ein oder anderen dokumentation der "early days" in berlin, so z.b. beim buch "klang der familie" oder auch auf artes doku "tanz auf dem todesstreifen"... ansonsten hat er natürlich auch eigene tracks veröffentlicht unter diversen alias´en, aber auch in form von remixen sowie einem 2016 erschienenen eigenem album.


was sein set heute angeht können wir nur den hut ziehen. er hat - ohne dabei peinlich, plakativ oder zu gewollt daher zu kommen - unzählige klassiker so arrangiert, ineinander gemischt und/oder die passenden remixes/edits herausgesucht, dass daraus ein derartig runder mix entstand, dass der club vor euphorie nur so sprühte.

wir sind uns dabei nichtmal sicher, ob jeder im raum die tracks alle "von früher" kannte oder ggf. erst per shazam feststellte, dass das wohl ältere platten sein müssten. und das kommt noch dazu: er spielte fast ausschließlich platten, technisch natürlich einwandfrei gemixt, was dem ganzen noch eine zusätzliche soundästhetik, vor allen dingen aber auch eine zusätzliche magie verlieh.

wir könnten jetzt alle tracks auflisten, die da so zum tragen kamen, aber es waren einfach zuviele. wichtig ist jedoch, dass alle dabei eine bedeutung hatten irgendwann einmal in den vergangenen jahrzehnten - bis heute! neben den alten klassikern kamen noch ein paar aktuelle tracks zum einsatz, die im grunde nochmal unterstrichen, dass die wirklich guten alten tracks fast 1:1 mit heutigen produktionen mithalten können. so z.b. dj koze´s aktueller "ecstasy" track ("... truth is bitter in the beginning, but sweet in the end...") der sich ohne weiteres gut einfügte.
