Roland Werk, born and raised in Berlin, got in touch with techno for the first time in the early ninetie, this left an huge impact on his musical taste up-to today. His influences are clearly rooted in classical techno. He grew up to the sound of artists like joey beltram, jeff mils, speedy j or kenny larkin and nowadays you can clearly hear the influences of the old days in his studio output and dj-sets. His trademark sound is precise, raw and physcial. roland’s sets are forward, yet surprising and at all times very danceable. His overall focus is on the right track selection and seamless mixing.
