You Cannot Be Sirius

The second of my sirius series - one shot summer mixes for playing at the pool or the bbq or the outside fun day when you just sit back and enjoy the special moment when london or wherever you are gets it right.

There's no real other theme than summer heat really. these are a collection of my fave tunes for the sunshine. some are twenty years old, some i only heard about last week. there's deep house, lounge (i know, but i still like it), funk, trance and who knows what else. it's not a mix for a purist, but it's pretty good fun, and i reckon it would get your garden party bopping.

I hope you enjoy it as much as you do the fine weather.

ps - the samples are from Good Night and Good Luck - i had wanted to copy the original recording from his famous speech (text here rtdna.org/content/edward_r_mur...in_a_box_speech) but he doesn't quite have the same lyricism as william strathern. anyway, i recommend you read the full text, as it's still relevant 70 years on...
