Wud Records Archives Sampler

by Wud Records

Wud Records Archives Sampler.

This section of Wud Records is where we have put the music and memories of glorious bands from days gone by. These bands are no longer heard live, but this is a place where their wonderful songs can live on and be enjoyed. We created these pages because we are fans of these bands. This material is not owned by us but by independent individuals and companies.

The main purpose of the archive pages is to pay homage to other bands that we have known and loved over the years. We have always felt it to be a terrible shame that there are so many bands that write great original material who simply disappear without trace after they split up and it is no longer possible to ever hear any of those songs again. Perhaps we can go a small way to rectify this issue.

If you wish to comment or if you would like to submit your material to this section, please email archive@wudrecords.co.uk to do so.

Should you happen to own the rights to the material we have published here and would prefer it to be removed, we shall do as you wish. Traffic figures can be supplied upon request.

We are very interested in giving exposure to the following bands. If you have any recordings of them, or indeed any of the other acts that are already in the Wud Records archives, please contact archive@wudrecords.co.uk:

  • Midriff (Plymouth c.2000-1)
  • Free Barrabas (Torbay c.2000)
  • Watershed (Plymouth c.1988-1994)
  • The Vibration Doctors (Sidmouth c.1985-8)
  • Critical Error (Exeter c.1986)
  • Andromeda (Dawlish c.2000-1)
  • Incubus (Exeter, c.1982-4)

This compilation has just one song from each of the bands in our Archives. That song may change from time to time and may not be entirely representative or typical of that band's creativity.
