Almost two years have gone by since Skutta Records took the stage for one of our monthly promomix. This time, Baddesley steps up again to deliver yet another excellent showcase of the sound of this Birmingham based label, run by LA Johnson and himself. Incidentally, after 7 years of releases and organizing events, Skutta Records are bringing their very own vinyl, releasing two fresh EPs from the likes of DYL and Threshold into the wild!

Like you would expect from Skutta Records, this mix is packed with tunes and promises a respectable variety of beats and breaks, dubwise rhythms and brooding cinematics, bringing you that signature Skutta sound. We caught ourselves zoning out to the music more than once, wishing we were enjoying this on a big sound system in a dark club!
