They have that underlying glam sound that I dig.\n3.\t**Clone\u2026..Glamatron**\u2026.single from 2020 and this combo is from Vancouver and you can find them on Bandcamp. \n4.\t**Wine Lips\u2026.Projector**\u2026.lead off single for their upcoming TV Dinner due out in August. From Toronto and played London several times.\n5.\t**Trash Sound Collective\u2026.The Hive**\u2026.brand new single on Moodkiller and this combo is from Seattle and will be in Vancouver on the 25th.\n6.\t**Quintana Dead Blues eXperience\u2026.Spell On Me**\u2026.from the brand new Ashes and this duo is from Bordeaux France.\n7.\t**Steppenwolf\u2026..Magic Carpet Ride**\u2026.from their second release, Second from 1968. This song was stuck in my noggin\u2019 so had to give it some airtime.\n8.\t**Jimmy C\u2026..Waiting For You**\u2026.from the about to be released Pretending To Be A Human on Kool Kat Musik and from Melbourne Australia.  Jimmy is a member of Lava Fangs whom we\u2019ve played several times on RadioWW.\n9.\t**Monogroove\u2026.Autopilot**\u2026.from the about to be released Anthology on Kool Kat Musik and it\u2019s a collection of unreleased and demos from over 30 years of this band\u2019s live.\n10.\t**T Bones\u2026.Heard My Train**\u2026.from their Greatest Hits which originally came out in 1989 and has just been re-ished by Rumble Skunk out of Greece. The name Greatest Hits was a joke at the time as it was their first release and the band didn\u2019t think they\u2019d get the chance to record again.  From Melbourne Australia.\n11.\t**Steve Shiffman &amp; The Land Of No\u2026.Wall Of Death**\u2026.from the recent Be Well which you can find on Bandcamp and this is a Toronto\/NYC combo with Chritopher Peifer on bass\u2026.\n12.\t**Christopher Peifer\u2026.Midnight Radio**\u2026.from The Social Distance from 2021 and based in NYC.\n13.\t**Noodle Brain\u2026.Sugar &amp; Spice**\u2026.from the brand new Drunk Dial Fakes Volume 3 compilation from Portland Oregon. The label, Drunk Dial gets bands in the studio, gets them drunk and then records, hence this compilation. Proceeds for the comp go to the charity Kids In Need Of Defense.\n14.\t**Gene Champagne\u2026.Gimme Ammunition**\u2026.from the about to be released single (actual vinyl) on Rumbar Records and copies of that should be at Speed City Records in the near future.\n15.\t**Malcolm Scott Is The Delicate Arch\u2026.Rachel It\u2019s Time**\u2026from the self titled release on Hyperopia Records and Malcolm is from London ON and will be at Palasad this Friday with Dylan Devinney, Mellow Casualty and\u2026.\n16.\t**Pacanomad\u2026.Paranoid**\u2026.from their 2016 Take It Slow release and from London ON.\n17.\t**Dolly Mix\u2026.Beth**\u2026.from a brand new demo and they will be playing the Sunday matinee at the Richmond.\n18.\t**Mountain Of Wolves\u2026.Don\u2019t Call My Name**\u2026from their 2017 Poison and from London On.\n19.\t**Loading Zone\u2026..I Can\u2019t Please You**\u2026.from their self titled release from 1968 and from Oakland California.  This track was also on the 1968 sampler called Groupquake which sold for $.99 back then and influenced my musical tastes.\n20.\t**Mark Malibu &amp; The Wasagas\u2026.Advert**\u2026.from their latest, Knock Me Out, available at most fine record stores and the band is from Toronto.\n21.**\tHandsome Dick Manitiba\u2026.Dance Dance Dance**\u2026.from the compilation Smiles Vibes &amp; Harmony, a Brian Wilson trib. From 1990 on Venus de Milo Records.\n22.\t**Suen Kuti\u2026.Think Afrika**\u2026.from his 2008 self titled debut featuring his father (Fela Kuti\u2019s) former combo Egypt 80. This troup came to Sunfest in 2008 and blew the roof off the main bandshell.   This is the start of our Sunfest set and you never know what you might hear at Sunfest.\n23.\t**La Chiva Gantiva\u2026..Despegue**\u2026.from the 2017 release of the same name and this combo is from Columbia but has a Viet Nam member and played Sunfest last year. We caught them 2 or 3 times, all excellent shows and much wilder than this recording.\n24.\t**Kristi Stassinopoulou\u2026..Fever**\u2026.from the 2001 Echotropia release and from Greece. We caught this combo 4 or 5 times that year, reminded me of a psychedelic Patti Smith Band.\n25.\t**Mauro Durante &amp; Justin Adams\u2026.Ghost Train**\u2026from the 2024 Sweet Release.  Mauro is from Italy and Justin the UK but together they make some fantastic music! We caught them at Aeolian Hall in November and they put on a great show! They mentioned that both of them have played Sunfest in different groups.\n26.\t**Tarig Abubakar &amp; The Afronubarians\u2026.Hobey Laik**\u2026.from their 2005 CBC live album and Tarig was from Sudan and the band from Toronto. We saw these guys at Sunfest several times and sadly Tarig passed away after an auto accident when he returned to Sudan.\n27.\t**Tell It To Sweeney\u2026.All He Wants**\u2026.2021 single and this combo is from London ON and are playing as part of the jazz portion of this year\u2019s Sunfest.\n28.\t**Gordon Lightfoot\u2026.Black Day In July**\u2026.from the Did She Mention My Name release from 1968 and this song was banned on most US radio stations due to content. This is about the Detroit race riots in 1968 and the start of our Detroit set.\n29.\t**John Lee Hooker\u2026.Motor City Is Burning**\u2026.from ICON, a greatest hits package and originally released in 1967,\n30.\t**MC5\u2026.The American Ruse**\u2026.from their 1970 Back In The USA release.\n31.\t**Bob Seger\u2026.East Side Story**\u2026.from Heavy Music The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967. There\u2019s a lot more to Bob Seger prior to his days as an AOR staple on classic radio.\n32.\tGuitar Army\u2026.Going To Detroit\u2026from the 2023 Detroit Blood and these guys are from Windsor and being Canadian, have a much more optimistic look at Detroit.\n33.\tHypnotics\u2026.Radio City\u2026.from the 2011 Static Fuzz Radio and from Windsor.
