It has a lot of deep driving grooves, builds and crescendos, and a sprinkling of funk. I've also been gravitating toward tracks with minimal to no vocals.
The intro is from the Alan Watts meditation "Awakening the Mind", and in the background you can hear the Jonathan Goldman Reiki chants with the Tibetan Monks chanting the Reiki symbol for "Sei-He-Ki", which means "God and Man become One". The first time I received a Reiki treatment, my practitioner was playing these chants and they resonated with me. I eventually went on to receive my Reiki Level 1 attunement which has played a big part in my spiritual awakening the last several years.
