The first track off of Ruff Stuffs EP Heat Me Up is the stuff dancefloors love, whether the floor is in a dark undergrould club or a sweaty dance off at a festival. Ruff Stuff has had amazing releases on labels such as Rough Recordings, Kolour & Cahoots Records and this one on SIM is also an exceptional example of this duos talent.

Sascha Dive (Cocoon Recordings, Tsuba and more) remixes the title track and gives the track a more deeper soulful touch with lovely overtures and funk filled drum work. Like a lot of Saschas work, this remix has class written all over it. Two words come to mind: Absolutely lush!

The original of Need Something is a deeper trip with thick beats, warm pads, chord and vocal stabs that will move any late night floor. Fede Lng who is the head honcho at Axe on Wax Records delivers a forward thinking version of Need Something with some toasty synth work and lots of character that will get a lot of heads bobbing on the floor.
