I am broken.

I've spent the last few days trying to process this and I simply can't. I've been playing the "Never gonna" game. Like...I'm never gonna get driven home from a gig in a Subaru and hit 136mph down the M5 because I told him to because "it would be funny", I'm never gonna get asked for the 7,947th time in an hour to "put the kettle on then" or I'm never gonna be able to phone him up at stupid o'clock because I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, drunk, and can't get home.
I had an epiphany moment a few days ago, probably from the hand of Dave to stop me being a whiny, crybaby Cunt, in which I discovered that the "Never gonna" game should be replaced with the "Celebrate" game.
I'm now trying to play this game where I celebrate that Dave was a big part of my life, celebrate how much of an amazing person he was, celebrate how generous, selfless and funny he was and how much of a difference he made to my life by just being there through the good times, the bad times and the downright stupid times. There was a lot of all of those.
I am truly honoured to have known him. He is, and always will be, very special and I will love him for eternity.
I would make a billion, million, thousand cups of tea to just to see your stupid face for one more day, Dave. And give you as many biscuits as you could eat.
As soon as my time on this stupid Fucking planet is up, I will find Dave and I will jump in the passenger seat of some stupid cosmic car, that he has no doubt gotten hold of, and we will charge around at a million miles per hour with me shouting out of the window and terrifying the locals...as usual.

I'm not going to say goodbye to him...I'll say what we always used to say, which was "See you soon".
