"Enter The Mental" is a technically brilliant production of classic Hip Hop beats and an alternative reality to us 'normal' people. The title itself gives you an insight into how Shit is going to go down. The MC, The Phantom, has struggled with mental health issues for years. Mental health issues that very few of 'normal' society will ever understand. This is a brutally honest presentation of how people with mental health issues think, function and how their frustration at being written off leads to human beings being treated as little more than animals. I cried when I listened to the lyrics on this LP. It's Fucking real, beautiful in it's honesty and an incredible and thought provoking insight into a side of life that affects all of us but we push under the rug.
