Tawa Girl - Dark Knight (Van Dexter Remix)

For this remix I decided to completely overthrow the original concept of the track. For those of you who do not already know me....yessss I am a Bass Lover. So I wanted to put a lot of emphasis on the kick and create a crossover of hardcore and dark techno. The original track made by Tawa Girl has a lot of interesting sounds in it that inspired me to rearrange the track in order to get a powerful combination of sounds that recall Oldschool Techno of the early 90ies, a hardkicking bassdrum as we can find in Hardcore, together with Dark Techno and some Psytrance Elements. The vocal was set slow on purpose in order to create an atmosphere that gives the techno dancer some rest before the kick comes in again. Tried not to rely too much onto the prevalent synth used in the original track. It was great fun to remix this track. And a great challenge! Van Dexter
