Rave Xistence - Dimensions EP

by Uk44 records

The new project from UK44's remixer and DJ Yoko, who already delivered some great flashback remixes in true, faithful retro 90s Hard-Trance style - this is his first own EP as project "Rave Xistence", aptly titled "Dimensions". On this EP we have two original tracks and a remix by none other than label chef & Hard-Trance legend M-Zone himself!

First up is "Enter The Vortex", which evokes that oldskool feeling of 90s German Hard-Trance with its 168 BPM speed, an acid 303 bassline and synth sounds directly from the past. If you remember the early days of this sound from the likes of Gary D., DJ Gollum or Nostrum then you will feel right at home & raving as if you were back in a warehouse!

M-Zone's intricate remix of "Enter The Vortex" takes the original, drops the BPM a little bit, adds more detail and creates a flowing journey through the imaginary vortex in the Hard-Trance style of the late 90s. Adding some fitting vocal samples, this remix takes you directly onto a spaceship crossing the dimensions.

Finally we have "Theme Of NonXistence", diving deep into the history of Hard-Trance right back to the dark early 90s sound of Frankfurt, inspired heavily by early Harthouse releases as you would expect from Arpeggiators, Spicelab or Resistance D. While the first part of the track starts off with classic, atmospheric gated choirs, the main event takes you deep into a rave-cavern filled with smoke and strobe lights. Together with the 160 BPM rolling kick & bass, the hypnotic and aggressive lead stabs take you to a frenzy like it's only possible with early 90s vibes!
