A lifelong musician and performer, Mark learned classical piano at the early age of 6, trumpet as a teen, and by university, this music junkie was playing bass guitar in live bands. Setting the stage for the mixed genres he spins and diverse crowds he attracts today, young Mark was a rare combination of devoted B-boy, obsessed with rock.

This all shifted, however, one late and fateful night in 1999. Mark’s music journey hit a high note (and dark, dirty bass notes) when he was introduced to Toronto’s thumping subterranean club, System Sound Bar. Mark’s eyes, ears, and mind were instantly opened.

Captivated by house and techno from that point forward, Mark became a fixture in the Toronto underground music scene. Closely watching many of the DJ greats, it wasn’t long before Mark was fuelled by that familiar burning desire to master yet another musical craft. He hones his slick selector capabilities and gives his all to every show.
