No particular genre - the moment I find a suitable genre is the same moment hives/urticaria or (whatever is the correct english translation of "orticaria") starts to hurt my back so the only genre I'm in is the "good musical ideas" (hopefully) genre.
This also means that I like to have musical friends of all genres - just try to put ideas in your works and if I am smart enough to get them then I'll like.
Try to be honest with music.
Music is a matter of creation and creativeness and that is what I pursue and what I look for all the time. Forgive me if you find I'm not creative and I hope a smile depicts in in your face when you find I am.
Please feel free to comment whatever you think about my music.
Here's an energetic experience with my guitar.
I composed this some years ago for a band that decided to break up just before going in the studio to record their first "revolutionary" album... (never heard? LOL)
The track you're listening is exactly the same prototype, draft (please advice me with the correct translation of italian "bozza") I realised for them - I only changed the drums.
Here I'm playing, the hammond, the bass and the two guitar parts - the drums are provided by a super-computer-music-technician who taught me a lot 10 years or so ago by now. He's not among us anymore and this track is released in his honor.
SIT TIBI TERRA LEVIS my friend.
Please focus on music not on the execution: I'm aware I'm not that good in playing guitar so I'm not releasing this track for showing how skilled player I am...
I'm just a music creator.
A little idea:
my dear guitar SC friends: would like to make a better solo based on this?
Contact me and let's see what can we do! :)

A few days ago I was having a walk near the Magellanic Clouds and something strange suddenly happened - a fleeting touch!
I tried to go as fast as possible to reach 'that'... but I couldn't!
Then I tried to capture its traces, signs, radio signals and all those strange sounds the 'object' left behind.
Still wonder what it was.
Any idea?
Enjoy and Have Fun :)
Reflecting on this means just seeing how long is the way and whatever is this way it is long, for the human being to... well it's not easy to explain.

I had this track in my thoughts (and in my HD) for quite a long time, uncertain about releasing it or not. Today perhaps this music it's the only way I have to express those unspeakable feelings.
Musically, there are too many insights in the choices I made and I still don't know if they are right or not so... Nevermind - feel free to comment whatever you think about this. Thanks in advance.

And yes... it's with JS BACH help (bwv 543) I succeded in escaping alive from the deconsecrated church in which some parts of this music were recorded.
I want to express my public thanks to the lovely ladies of "Coro della beata Crispina Benincasa dell'Aperto Spirito del Polesine Meridionale" (female polyphonic choir) whose great patience is second only to their open mind. I'm particularly thankful to mrs Ramona, the choirmaster, whose suggestions where priceless for my poor choir scoring technique (and for letting me sampling many of her "acuto").
Finally I'd like to thank the little Augusto, the 4 years old son of one of the choir ladies, who stood wordless for two entire recording takes of this stuff before exploding in a desperate crying. It's impossible to know if it was because of the terrible music he listened to or because of some sorrowful feelings inside it or because it was late and he just wanted to go back home. It's a tormenting inquiry that I hope I'll never solve.

It's a tormenting inquiry that I hope I'll never solve.</itunes:summary>

DA QUESTE NODOSE MANI (1938)

da queste nodose mani
(e pallide)
lascio contare i rabbiosi giorni

(e pallide)
Come il tuo volto rapito dall'oscurità
la mia anima dalla notte dell'intelletto
Reggeranno libri in fuga

It did not rise above the ocean floor.

Five times rekindled and as many quenched
Had been the splendour underneath the moon,
Since we had entered into the deep pass,

When there appeared to us a mountain, dim
From distance, and it seemed to me so high
As I had never any one beheld.

Joyful were we, and soon it turned to weeping;
For out of the new land a whirlwind rose,
And smote upon the fore part of the ship.

Three times it made her whirl with all the waters,
At the fourth time it made the stern uplift,
And the prow downward go, as pleased Another,

Until the sea above us closed again."
Evermore gaining on the larboard side.

Already all the stars of the other pole
The night beheld, and ours so very low
It did not rise above the ocean floor.

Five times rekindled and as many quenched
Had been the splendour underneath the moon,
Since we had entered into the deep pass,

When there appeared to us a mountain, dim
From distance, and it seemed to me so high
As I had never any one beheld.

Joyful were we, and soon it turned to weeping;
For out of the new land a whirlwind rose,
And smote upon the fore part of the ship.

Three times it made her whirl with all the waters,
At the fourth time it made the stern uplift,
And the prow downward go, as pleased Another,

Until the sea above us closed again."
Two movements sonata vaguely inspirated upon:

Dante Alighieri - Inferno - canto XXVI

"e volta nostra poppa nel mattino,
de' remi facemmo ali al folle volo,
sempre acquistando dal lato mancino.

Tutte le stelle già de l'altro polo
vedea la notte e 'l nostro tanto basso,
che non surgea fuor del marin suolo.

Cinque volte racceso e tante casso

Noi ci allgegrammo, e tosto tornò in pianto,

Tre volte il fé girar con tutte l'acque;
a la quarta levar la poppa in suso
e la prora ire in giù, com'altrui piacque,

infin che 'l mar fu sovra noi richiuso."
