A wonderous but raucous journey down a snow laden roadway in a horse and sled awaits you.

Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops has brought an arrangement like no other and a sense of this journey since 1949. Written during a hot summers day this little tune has you rocking and rolling down hills and dales as you sled around the country side through the snow.

The composition was performed by Leroy Anderson in 1946. Lyrics were written but Fiedler made it their signature piece by 1949 as an instrumental. Instant hit. It has grown into what is an icon of the holiday season.

Thanks for coming along and enjoy some new sounds from Essentials and London Solo Strings.
