Trust in Wax is a collective of musicians, artists and DJ’s based in Münster, Germany. We are all about music, no matter which style. Hip Hop, Soul, Jungle, Reggae – you get the idea. We like it, we play it. But we do not only play other guys music ... we also produce our own tracks!

It started with some special edits to nice up our gigs. Right now we are very happy to celebrate our next official release. On NICE ONE we’ll present downbeat music we made … like this decent pair of dope beats:

Curls & Nods is the freshest new-age instrumental hip-hop duo producing right now. Their pure and punchy sound travels between old school hip-hop and jazz. Using common tools for remixing, both artists showcase their amazing improvising skills.

For this project, beatmaker "Curly Hair" Baronski and head-nodding piano player derkalavier met on one of Saigon's outdoor rooftops in Vietnam. They got inspired by the city's pulsating energy accepting an intentionally limited production style. The only gear in use was a single MPK Mini Mk1 for both musicians!
