Trez Molo

Thierry Emanuel aka Trez Molo was born in the deepest valley in between the highest peak of Switzerland, like the shape of a sound wave. So the way into music was just to obvious. The first records played were from Pink Floyd to Sex Pistols leading from Bob Marley to Grand Master Flash (sounds crazy doesn't it?), until the first Kraftwerk found its way into the record collection. The virus for electronic music got caught and the cure for it was never found. Au contraire, it became even stronger. Therefore instead of chasing a medicine against it, the goal became to cross boarders in the chase of new musical shores to expand and ease his musical curiosity. Hear for yourself.

if you were born after 1980, this has nothing to do with you! Get out! Today's children are wrapped in cotton wool. ....................... All other read on!
If you lived as a child in the 60s or 70s, it is hardly to believe in retrospective that we were able to survive for so long! As children we were sitting in cars without seatbelts and no airbags. Our cribs were painted with colors full of lead and cadmium. The vials from the pharmacy, we were able to open them without any difficulty, just like the bottle of bleach. Doors and cupboards were a constant threat to our fingers and on the bike, we never wore a helmet. We drank water from the taps and not from a bottle. We built self made soapbox cars and discovered during the first ride down the hill, that we forgot the brakes. We were clear after a few accidents. We left the house in the morning to play. We stayed away all day and only had to be at home when the streetlights came on. Nobody knew where we were and we did not even have a cell phone! We have cut ourselves, broke bones and teeth, and nobody has been sued because of it. There were just accidents. No one was to blame except ourselves Nobody asked for "supervision". Can you still remember "accidents"? We fought and beat each other sometimes green and blue. So we had to live, because it did not interest the adults especially. We ate biscuits, bread thick with butter, drank a lot and still have not been too thick. We drank with our friends from one bottle and no one died as a result. We did not have Playstation, Nintendo 64, X-Box, Wii, video games, 3164 TV channels, DVD's, surround sound, own TV, Powerbook computer, iPhone's, iPod's, iPad's Internet chat rooms or Facebook. We had friends! We just went out and met on the street or in the neighborhood. Or we simply marched to their home and rang the bell. Sometimes we did'n need to ring the bell we easily walked in. Without an appointment and without the knowledge of our mutual parents. No one brought us and no one picked us up ... How was that possible? We played games with sticks and tennis balls. In addition, we ate worms. And not one prophecy came true: the worms did not live further in our stomachs and with the sticks we did'n put out many eyes. When we played street football only could take part, who was good. Who was not good, had to learn to cope with disappointment. Some students were not as smart as others. They failed a grade and repeated classes. This then led to no emotional parent-teacher conferences or even to change the performance evaluation. Our actions have consequences sometimes. That was clear and no one could hide. If one of us has failed against the law, it was clear that parents do not automatically cut him out of the mess. On the contrary: they were often the same opinion as the police! Something like that! Our generation has produced a wealth of innovative problem solvers and inventors with risk-taking. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility. With all that, we knew how to handle! And you? Where do you belong to?? Congratulations! born after 1980 => So now you know the wimp, too ;-) born before 1980 => WE WERE REEL HEROES! Cuz we have the beat in our hearts! Born after 1980 => WE LOVE YOU ANYWAYS ;)
