Here's a list of what I've done to the original masters:

- Used my own "Toxic Kick" preset with a bitcrusher effect.

- Guitar that makes the principal phrasing was added a slight to medium chorus so it could cut through the mix on top of the synth.

- Few modifications to the bassline in order to keep it melodic, I used my own "Toxic Bass" preset for this one, still has to be polished I know.

- Blues guitar solo and synth solo were paired, I thought they sounded nice together since a blues break didn't quite worked (too little time to develop such thing)

- The small break is the main rhythm guitar with the drums, drums were sounding huge! so HPF the guitar and boosted its mids so it could stand in front of the massive drum sequence.

- Squeelch transition from triplets to a rolling bass! And a squeelch solo as well, pretty basic though. (Props to iCON for the tutorial on this)

- Triplet break in the last section, inspired in one of the songs in the Space Cat 20 year celebration.

- Melodic minor melody as an outro, would like to make it longer but the deadline was over me, perhaps I'll develop it in another song as that part is more a full Toxic Byte full-on type of thing.

Personally I don't think I could stand a chance for this song to win at all, however the mere fact of me participating makes me feel good and I've enjoyed the trip of extensive remixing work as I learned a lot from it, that's the part you don't get to see behind this track, it may sound underdeveloped but regardless I will continue to polish it and will be featured in an upcoming EP or LP.
