Continue performs ‘Traces’
Hacked instruments and augmented performers get together to turn the rooftop of Ting Shuo Hear Say into an inky and discordant new live work.
‘痕迹 Traces’ is the first performance proposition of Tainan-based outfit 繼續 Continue.

Jīng Hán Hú [movement, ink]
Jing Hán Hú is a performance artist living in Tainan. Having roots in sculpture, Jing moves between making stuff to making live performance. Jing draws inspiration from daily encounters of the makeshift kind in the old and new mash-up of Tainan’s city scape.

Nigel Brown [modified piano accordion]
Nigel Brown works with sound across performance, recording and design for other mediums. Elements of instability and negotiation are central to Nigel’s practice. Sound is approached through delving into the unknown - an unstable constructed instrument, an unfamiliar environment, an improvised encounter - and responding to unexpected results.
