Ye olde techno mixtape ripped from analog cassette. . .something from right around the Computer Controlled era. I was an editor for the now defunct Fix magazine in Los Angeles. This mix was recorded at Mike Fix's house up in the Mid-Wilshire district. While dubbing the DAT down to cassette I loaded out all my gear Some crackheads broke into my Tahoe and stole my decks, DAT recorder and about 500 records out of the back. I don't have most of this music anymore, which is a shame. DJ Alison and Nina at Beat Non Stop caught the guy the next day trying to resell my records a few blocks away on Melrose. They grabbed some records and chased the guy down the street until he jumped in a car and got away.

That's life in the big city.

Enjoy.

Tracks from the likes of Dave Clarke, Cari Lekebusch, Marc Acardipane, Subhead, Christian Vogel, and more. . .
