The voice is more immediate, the hats more straightforward, and there's trademark Ametist woodblocks and pixie dust, but the action's to be found in the simple update/rehash of basic (channel-esque) house tropes: drums grinding out a beefy low-slung rhythm and a concrete-grey dub stab with slight hints of Thorsten's original mix.

When Julian Gmelin and Nino Kamuf met in 2009 it was musical love at first sight. The dinamic duo was influenced by Bunte Bummler's dark and raw music so they decided to perform their tracks live together.

"C'mon" is a classic tech house jam. Groovy bassline , the trademark nasty vocals and of course some great hooks makes us think that these guys will sure be a producer to be watched in 2014.

Over the years Hammer has released on labels like his own Ametist, as well as others such as Soulman, Straight Music and many more. His style evolves with each release and can be anything from deep to tracky, and fans include the likes of Monika Kruse, Luciano and Laurent Garnier.

The track, ‘What A L’ is a deep and involving offering that is rich with bubbling drums, gurgling synths and elastic rhythms that all wrap around each other to great effect. It swells subtly like the house music of the Innervisions crew and features plenty of atmosphere as well as whispered human vocals.

Lekesch & Schekel are the fast rising duo on remixing duties. Their version strips back everything to a hollowed out tech funk groove with spoken word musings talking about the London riots.
