2013 was a breakout year for this production duo, scoring a slew of label remixes which included a number one Billboard Dance single (“Catch My Breath” by Kelly Clarkson). The Scene Kings were also honored by the syndicated EDM mixshow Remix Top 30 which is heard by 5.7 million listeners every weekend and in over 200 cities throughout america and around the world. They were named the number 5 in the USA and number 8 in the world, remix producers of the year, besting out big names Tiesto, Fedde le Grand, Kaskade and R3hab.
Hailing from New Jersey, The Scene Kings have gained notoriety among music industry pros worldwide. The combined talents of veteran producer Dennis Ciallela and John Feelgood deliver the “big room “ goods, with a signature sound that features a unique blend of commercial dance, progressive, electro, and tribal house.
Ciallela, a 2007 IDMA-nominated producer, and Feelgood, a featured performer at numerous Garden State venues, have over 20 years of production credits to their name. Since combining their talents in 2008, renowned producers and syndicated DJs have taken notice, adding The Scene Kings catalog to their playlists and mixshows. TSK’s diverse body of work, includes remixes of Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Krewella, and Zedd, as well as dozens up and coming artists.
2013 also saw the creation of the duo’s new label: Subnet Recordings. Subnet is dedicated to cultivating young local EDM producers and giving them worldwide exposure, The Scene Kings are expanding their sound to appeal to an even wider audience, and will continue to be on the forefront of the EDM world.
